Minecraft MakeCode programming is the most popular topic at the L2 level, and the course will be focused on learning how to design and develop Minecraft projects through script programming. Students will be able to program their own features and ideas that are not available in Minecraft games, creating unlimited possibilities for developing and releasing their own games.

The study of Python is a great introductory foundation for taking the two existing high school AP CS courses. Not only does it satisfy the immediate requirements of AP CS Principles, but it also helps students transition more smoothly into the Java programming language required by AP CS A.
